Our world appears to be steadily moving into moral anarchy as
dishonest business practices become more brazen, and liars,
hustlers, con-artists, scammers, fraudsters, thieves, criminals, and
deviants, victimise our society with impunity, and disregard for
individual and community rights increases proportionally with
corruption and self-serving politicians and institutional leaders. Law enforcement and
judicial systems are steadily becoming more complex, expensive, and less
accessible to the common people. Deviants abuse the
vulnerabilities in modern law, legal procedure, and law enforcement,
to engage in dishonest business practices, fraud, estafa, scams,
cons, hustles, corruption, and terrorism. Historically, members of a
community refrained from deviant behaviour for fear of being
ostracised by family and the local community, and the high
probability of a swift punishment. Communities and business grew and
law and order became complex and expensive, to the extent that in
modern day society, there is significant deviation from moral norms,
no fear of being ostracised, and real legal protection and remedies
beyond the financial means of the majority. In every respect
our personal and business lives have become administratively and
legally more complex. In
some countries, victims are unable to enforce or protect their
rights. Whether it be due to fear or lack of confidence in the
police and/or judicial system or in many cases, for fear of
repercussions or retaliation by the perpetrators.
